Fahrenheit 451 Book Review

I read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I thought the book was okay but in the beginning I struggled with keeping up with it. There were words that were just real confusing. In the middle it got better but somewhere in the end got real hard. I did not really like the book I thought it could've been better. I feel like this because it wasn't really the kind of book I would read. It was hard for me to read a book I hardly like. So I was not interested so much in the book.

The one character I really liked was Charisse I think she should have been in the book more. Charisse is funny, weird, and talkative and thats why I really liked her. Shes a fun character. I think that she is almost like me except I'm weirder. I thought that Montag's Wife was funny because she follows the rules and is very still and doesn't want to break any rules. Someone like that I would never want to live with and I think that she was okay in the book along with Charisse. I think that Montag 's character could've been better if he had more things going on, except him just reading and being scared and shy.

I think the people who would like to read this book are mostly the smart people in my class and I think people who like surprises and weird words. Which I think are most the guys in my class. Fahrenheit is an okay book but I, to be honest don't like it because its not the kind of book I would read. There were some parts I really liked and I really enjoyed them too. For example, When they took the risk to read the books but they had a big chance to be in trouble but Charisse just had to convince him to read. These parts I like. Because I really enjoyed it. I like taking risks because its fun and you never know whats going to happen. When I read it in the book and I thought that it was cool because I thought it was going to be more like that in the book and I thought I would like It. Then the words got confusing and then the book got all hard to read and then I stop enjoying the book.

I think the book would be better if it had more exciting things going on and less hard words. I thought It could've been better if he took more risks and got caught and tried to make a change. I thought that Montag can really be a fun character. This whole book could've been fun if it had just a little more adventure. Montags character could've been better and I think if I was to rewrite the book I would make it more fun better to read and so that everyone wants to read it. The kinds of adventure that I mean Is him having to go through lots of things and get in big trouble and find a way to get/make that change. These are kinds of adventure I would enjoy.
