Immigration Reflection.

I think immigration is someone who travels from one country to live in America. One reason that an immigrant may leave their home country for America is because there is freedom in America.

Another reason why people may leave their homeland is that there are more job opportunities. Also, US currency is worth more then their native country's money. Lastly because they might want to give there family a better life for their children, or themselves.

Our country offers several things that others do not. For example, in the US we have a freedom of religion. That means that you can believe any god that you want. Also, you have the freedom of speech. This means that you can say what you want and speak what you believe in. Lastly one thing that I like is that I have the freedom to wear what I want. Not what you have to wear in other homelands.

There is a very diverse population which opens America up to new culture. There are more immigration laws, this is because we deal with more immigration in America then other countries. Also different diverse restaurants. I like to eat Chinese, Mexican, and food that us Americans eat. This country is so that all from different cultures can live peacefully in one. My life has been directly impacted by immigration because my grandma has been from Mexico. Lastly if it hadn't been because of her I would not be here today, or the person I am.
